UK Property Multi-Millionaire Joins

New Wealth Manager’s Advisory Board

LONDON — Clarmond Advisors, the new London based wealth management business, today announced that Jon Hunt, the successful property entrepreneur and multi-millionaire, will be joining its advisory board, effective 1 July 2010.

Jon Hunt founded Foxtons, the London based estate agency, which he sold in 2007 at the top of the market for a reported £370 million. Since then he has been active as a principal investor in off-market UK property and land.

Christopher Andrew, Clarmond’s Founder and Chief Executive, commented that:

“Jon Hunt is the leading property investor of his generation, and his insight into that sector’s conditions and cycles is second to none. We are delighted to be working with him, and welcome him as our first non-executive advisor.”

Jon Hunt commented that:

“Chris Andrew is the only advisor I’ve ever had — and I’ve had a few! — who’s never shied away from telling me the truth. I’m not on any other advisory boards and don’t normally do this sort of thing, but I very much look forward to being part Clarmond’s advisory team as they build their business, which I strongly suspect will go from strength to strength.”
